Something Social events are about fundraising while socialising. Arts Social is about sharing a passion for the the arts in all their guises. This is our second event - a night of jazz! As they say on the Fast Show - nice!
A four piece jazz ensemble led by keyboardist Paul Smail that plays a selection of original compositions and a range of styles as well as new interpretations of well known pieces.
The emphasis is on grooves, rhythms and melodies. The band has played to rave reviews on the Somerset jazz scene.
Arts Social is about people getting together to share a passion for Art - in all it's forms.
The cost is £8 including £1 each for Macmillan Cancer Support Somerset.
To book, fill in the form on the Arts Social page at http://www.somersetsocial.co.uk - Booking is required by 14th November 2007 as I have to let the theatre know numbers shortly after. I've reserved 10 places on a first come, first served basis.
Something Social events are open to everyone who is open minded to gender, belief and sexuality, and who want to enjoy themselves! They provide a chance to meet new people, form new friendships and expand your social network, and to raise money for charity.
Arts Social is the first Tuesday of every month. We meet just inside the Coal Orchard, North Street, Taunton, TA1 1TX at 7.45pm, before heading further inside at about 8pm.
