In partnership with Reading Uni LGBT, Reading Liberal Youth will be fighting and fundraising against homophobia here in Reading. T-Shirts £7, £1 will go to charity. Pre-order your t-shirts now by emailing markwhiley@readingliberalyouth.com.
Following successes in Birmingham and Bristol, Liberal Youth's Homophobia Is Gay Bar Crawl concept comes to Reading on November 20th 2009 when we will be joining with Reading University LGBT to hit the town in style! Pre-order your t-shirts now by sending an email to markwhiley@readingliberalyouth (titled 'HIG').
T-Shirts will be £7 and the money can be paid either on the day or at Reading University in the following places: at the next two Spectrum events; Freshers Fayre; or at one of our stalls in the University (more details will be given in due course on when these stalls will be around).
£1 from every t-shirt sold will go towards Berkshire's 'BeYou' Support Charity (Charity No. 1100758), working to support the local LGBT Community for 24 years with a diverse range of services from a helpline and information resources, to face-to-face councilling and social services/events.
The T-Shirts will give you special offers throughout the night at the 6 or so straight and gay venues that we go to.
Please note Valid Passport or Driving License ID will be required and anti-social behaviour WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Anyone causing disruption on the crawl will be asked to leave as we have as we have a responsibility for health and safety, the Universty's reputation and that of our Society, the UoR LGBT Society and Liberal Youth.
