First night of new LGBT friendly alt film club tomorrow - Nexus Cafe 2 Dale Street.. Tomorrow it's gay biker films..Scorpio Rising, Kustom Kar Kommandos and The Pink Angels (aka The Beautiful Freaks). Music by Jonny Trash and Polly Esther
A new venture by the group who put on Trashorama. The idea is just to show a few rarely seen alternative cinema items. there'll be music intervals with the Trashorama DJs.. so tends to be rockabilly, punk, reggae..
There's no set entrance fee but donations welcome to cover costs and help put on more events.
Venue is alcohol free, but tea, coffee and fruit drinks available.
This is going to be a monthly thing.. I think the next is going to be early lesbian films.
So far I know one other OUT guy is due to be going.. Say hi if you come along.
