27 October 2007: Halloween Charity Line Dance Social
In Manchester there are not very many line dance socials so Boot Scoot are organising one for Halloween. The event will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and local charity Helsby Golf Club Powered Wheelchair Appeal.
If you took part in the line dance at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games you will already know the venue - it is the same school used for the rehearsals of Chill Factor!
Although there is a halloween theme for the event, fancy dress is entirely optional. However, there will be prizes for the best fancy dress costumes!
The hall being used for the dancing is huge and has an excellent dance floor.
The social is aimed at dancers of all levels from the beginner to the more experienced dancer.
All requests will be played, time permitting.
The event is Bring Your Own Food / Drink as there is no bar.

We run two line dance classes a week under the name "Boot Scooters". On a Monday night, from 7:30pm until 10:30pm we are in the upstairs room, Spirit Bar, Canal Street, Manchester. On a Thursday night we are in The Rainbow Community Centre, Liverpool Road, Eccles from 7:00pm until 9:30pm.
