8 August 2008: Great British Beer Festival
A visit to the Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court.
We'll meet at the seating area in front of the Wells & Youngs / Greene King / Sharpes stalls (see "Meeting Place" below for details) at 7pm and remain in the same area for the evening. People can then wander around to stalls of individual brewers or regional stall to buy whatever beers they want, knowing where the rest of us will be.
It is recommended to buy your entry ticket online, to save queueing at the venue. You can do that here: http://www.seetickets.com/gbbf/
Glasses are hired at the venue (opposite the entrance door), and you can either hand them in at the end to get your money back, or keep them.
Do feel free to bring any friends who also enjoy real ale!!
