GOC/OUT Walk, Somerset
26 October 2008: GOC/OUT Walk
Sunday walk - about 8 miles. These walks are run jointly with the local Gay Outdoor Cluib group and are a good way to meet people in a friendly, non-cruisey atmosphere.
The walk will then be through woodlands to the harbour at Porlock Weir. Returning across Porlock Bay to Bossington, then inland across farmland back to Porlock. Packed lunch or pub lunch at Porlock Weir. About 8 miles in all.
Bring waterproof clothing just in case, and wear sturdy footwear. But this is not a route march - we take things steadily with plenty of chance to stop and admire the scenery so you don't have to be superfit.
All welcome, gay, straight, male and female - and well behaved dogs.
