A ten mile walk, starting and ending at Hassocks Station, climbing Wolstenbury Hill and Newtimber Hill. If there's time we might do Devil's Dyke too. We'll be having a pub lunch at the Royal Oak in Poynings
Roughly a ten mile walk, starting and ending at Hassocks Station, and at some point climbing Wolstenbury Hill and Newtimber Hill. If there's time we might do Devil's Dyke too.
We'll be having a pub lunch at the Royal Oak in Poynings. Prices are a bit above average for a pub, but not humongous. Some nice ales there too. To see more look here: http://www.royaloakpoynings.com/.
We should be back in London by about 6.30pm.
If you've not been on a GerryWalk before, do join us. We're all very friendly. To get regular invites to walks, go to quickfind:224052 and mark yourself as Definite or Probable. If you don't do that, you won't get invited automatically.
