Gay Outdoor Club Herts @ Stevenage Old Town (plus curry), Stevenage Old Town, Hertfordshire
12 December 2009: Gay Outdoor Club Herts @ Stevenage Old Town (plus curry)
Ladies and Gents are welcome to join the GOC Herts' monthly walk. Today's walk is a short walk around Stevenage Old Town and the rural bit to the north, followed by the group's Christmas lunch: a curry!
What's happening?
A short walk of about 5 miles, including quiet parts of the Old Town and the rural area to the north, followed by a Christmas lunch in a recommended Indian restaurant.
IMPORTANT: pre-booking and a deposit of £5 is required to join the lunch. The menu appears below.
Access to the car park needs care. As you drive into Stevenage Old Town, the car park is behind Waitrose, in between the store and the A602 dual carriageway. Study the streetmap.
What should I bring?
Sturdy trainers or walking boots are recommended for this walk. A change of footwear - for the restaurant - is strongly recommended.
