Ladies and Gents are welcome to join the GOC Herts' monthly walk. Today's short walk features the River Stort, the historic town of Sawbridgeworth and its countryside.
What's happening?
Today's walk is an 8 mile town walk featuring the River Stort, the historic town of Sawbridgeworth and its countryside..
What should I bring?
Please bring a large packed lunch and plenty of water. Recommend plastic sheeting to sit on (for lunch)(but don't eat it).
Sturdy trainers would be adequate footwear for this walk, although expect some mud.
What is Herts GOC?
Herts GOC is a local branch of the Gay Outdoor Club ( http://www.goc.org.uk/ ). It promotes the practice, learning and refining of outdoors activities and skills.
GOC has its own annual subscription fee. Prospective members are welcome to "try before you buy".
