9 June 2007: Gay Outdoor Club Hertfordshire: monthly walk (Watton At Stone)
Ladies and Gents are welcome to join the GOC Herts' monthly walk. This month's walk is ~8 miles around Watton At Stone.
Would you like to join the men and women of Herts GOC on a circular walk around Watton At Stone?
This is ordinary, pleasant and picturesque countryside, very typical of east Herts.
Please bring a large packed lunch and plenty of water. Recommend plastic sheeting to sit on (for lunch)(but don't eat it). Wear sturdy walking boots that can cope with both tarmac and mud.
Herts GOC is a local branch of the Gay Outdoor Club ( http://www.goc.org.uk/ ). It promotes the practice, learning and refining of outdoors activities and skills.
GOC has its own annual subscription fee. Prospective members are welcome to "try before you buy".
