*** 1 PLACE LEFT AS OF 19/6/07 *** A weekend away (a "Queer Goings On" event) with up to 20 other gay men in a fabulous location near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. We will have exclusive use of Unstone Grange which is close to the Peak District
A weekend away (a "Queer Goings On" event) with up to 20 other gay men
in a fabulous location in Derbyshire. We will have exclusive use of Unstone Grange, located 4 miles from Chesterfield and close to the Peak District.
Unstone Grange is owned by a charitable trust, for details see http://www.unstonegrange.co.uk/. It is a Victorian country house with 5 acres of grounds, including an organic kitchen garden.
The accommodation will be in shared rooms (there are 10 bedrooms) but there should be plenty of room for 20, as the capacity is 35 people. Catering will be organised jointly by the group. What happens on the weekend is largely up to those who come: one event already planned is a bonfire in the grounds on the Saturday evening. There are 3 large rooms downstairs for workshop and meeting spaces.
The cost will be 90 pounds all -inclusive for the weekend, this includes accommodation, meals and some wine..
