GAY Five Rhythms Movement Meditation/Ecstatic Dance, Tottenham Ct Rd, London
23 November 2007: GAY Five Rhythms Movement Meditation/Ecstatic Dance
DANCE OUT LOUD - Every Friday .....I don't teach dance - I teach movement that frees the body from stagnation....FIVE RHYTHMS....It releases energy and reconnects us to our dance, breaking down stereotypes. www.myspace.com/gay5rhythms
Dance Out Loud is a weekly 5 Rhythms movement/dance drop-in class. We welcome everyone who respects diverse sexuality and wants to dance.
We get up to 20 like minded people along..........
Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms is a simple movement practice designed
to release the dancer that lives in every body, whatever your shape,
size, limitations, age or experience.
You can use it as a way to have fun, and experience yourself and
other people in a different way. All that's needed is the
willingness to let your body move and be open to what happens next.
"Those times when we're grounded in our body, pure in our heart,
clear in our mind, rooted in our soul and suffused with the spirit
of life - those times are our birthright." Gabrielle Roth
Finding ways to create balance, awareness and letting go of any fears that block the flow of vital energy within the body, mind and spirit.
