10 February 2008: Gay Drum Circle
London Gay Drum Circle is open to everyone. No previous experience is needed. Drumming is a great way to relax, bring out the inner potential and have fun!! No need to bring a drum, we have plenty drums to share.
Our Gay Drum Circle is open to everyone, no prior booking required, everyone is welcome. Also if you are dancer and would like to dance along please come. No need to have done any drumming before, complete beginners are most welcome.
You don't need to be an expert to be part of a Gay Drum Circle experience. There's nothing quite like the sound of 30 or so drummers and percussionists working together, rediscovering their natural rhythm and reconnecting with their roots. Drumming, after all, is the oldest healing ritual known to man and has always inspired a sense of community and belonging.
The evening will be followed by a social at a local café.
There is a £10 fee to cover tuition and venue hire.
