Gay Birmingham Remembered presents a fascinating insight into the social, cultural, commercial, political and personal histories of the lesbian and gay community in and around Birmingham.
This free exhibition provides a taster of the massive information collected and displayed on www.gaybirminghamremembered.org.uk Open access from 2nd - 30th May, from 10:00 a.m. until late evening.
Gay Birmingham Remembered presents a fascinating insight into the social, cultural, commercial, political and personal histories of the lesbian and gay community in and around Birmingham; based on over 150 hours of interviews, donated archive materials and additional material spanning over 70 years.
Birmingham Pride Community Trust

Birmingham Pride Community Trust aims to reinvigorate and support the city's diverse lesbian, gay and bisexual communities through community engagement, advocacy, and lobbying for better service provision. Our target group are LGB people who live, work, study or play in Birmingham, and we prioritise the needs of younger, older and black and ethnic minority LGBs. We organise a range of community information and consultation events including a regular Forum for local LGB community groups.
