31 July 2011: Garden! Cake! Charity! Outers open their garden for charity
My partner and I, both Outers, are opening our garden for charity as part of the National Garden Scheme. Come and have tea and cake in the garden and help us raise money for charities including Macmillan, Marie-Curie and Help the Hospices.
My partner John and I (we met on Out!) are opening our garden in Brighton for charity as part of the National Garden Scheme on Sunday 31st July. Come and have tea and cake in the garden and help us raise money for charities including Macmillan, Marie-Curie and Help the Hospices.
We're one of three gardens open on the same day and just £3 gets you in to all three, which are all very different but all beautiful. They're all within 5 minutes walk of each other. Parking is free in the area and we're also close to London Road (Brighton) train station and various bus routes.
We'll be serving tea and homemade cakes in our garden and selling homemade jam and some seeds, to raise extra money for the charities and it's always lovely to meet fellow Outers, so do introduce yourself!
Full details including directions, photos and our garden blog on www.roundhillgardens.co.uk - hope to see you next Sunday!
