Ever fancied hurling yourself downhill? Sprinting uphill passed weekend ramblers? Wading through knee high bog? and over open moorland?
Discover the ease of moving like you were designed to over open ground on Clougha - a stunning Lancashire Fell overlooking the whole of Morecambe Bay. This event is a 1st timers introduction to the sport of Fell Running - whether you're a jogger, or road, cross country or trail runner.
NOTE: This event is for people who can already run 6 miles on the flat comfortably in 50-60 minutes. Participants should ideally have trail or fell running shoes to minimise the risk of sprained ankles, sliding around in bog and falling on rocks. You are also advised to carry in a bumbag: water-wind proof jacket, over trousers and hat; compass; whistle; local OS map and mapcase.
