Fairytales in Glasgow, Glasgow

4 July 2007: Fairytales in Glasgow

Anyone fancy setting up a reading group in Glasgow? I've just finished reading 'Michael Tolliver Lives' by Armistead Maupin and it would be good to have a wee blether about it! Not sure if there's already a gay book group in Glasgow but if not.....

Loads of people have read the 'Tales of the City' series of books written by Armistead Maupin. The arrival of his new book, 'Michael Tolliver Lives' gives us another opportunity to delve into the lives of the people who lived, or were connected to, 28 Barbary Lane in San Francisco. The idea for this event is to focus on the book at a new reading group for gay men in Glasgow. All that's required at the mo' is an indication of interest. If a few of us are keen then we can sort something out.

photoMmmm. Up to 75 words. Sailing through my 40's and starting to be aware of the next 'big' birthday. Enjoying life but would appreciate a few more gay shipmates.
