Clashing with the hottest weekend of the year to date, May's posse proved to be a slow starter but there was a healthy turnout towards the end of the afternoon. I say healthy - I'm afraid yours truly was a little bit green having been attacked by bad bacteria earlier in the week. So the following is a list of the topics of conversation that I recall from my brighter moments during the afternoon - the cinema in Bridport, Gordon Brown, the French, Foodeaze, the toilets at Plymouth bus station, mobile phones, Quakers and religion. Indeed, it was during a thoughtful discussion on the latter that Paul and I were introduced to one Don Cupid. In my somewhat hazy mind, I felt sure that my parents had one or two of his albums but alas I was way off the mark. He is, in fact, a theologian. Does that make me stupid cupid?
