16 September 2007: Edward Carpenter Community (ECC) 'Taster Day'
An introduction to the ECC: a national network of gay men committed to the principles of caring, trusting, personal growth, friendship & creativity with the aim of nurturing a loose-knit 'community' as an alternative to the commercial gay scene.
The Edward Carpenter Community is a national network of gay men who are committed to the principles of caring, trusting, personal growth, friendship and creativity with the aim of nurturing a loose-knit 'community' as an alternative to the regular commercial gay scene. Weekend and week long activities take place throughout the year at a variety of venues across the country and there is currently a group meeting monthly in Manchester. On Sunday 16th September the ECC are running a 'Taster Day' in Manchester as an opportunity for gay men in the North West to find out more about the group and to meet some of the established members in the area.
