10 October 2007: Eat Out Social Nottingham 20: Shaw's Restaurant
A monthly dinner club in and around Nottingham, usually with a discount, for open minded people who want to chat and make new friends! Included in the cost £1 per person goes to Switchboard.
It's 3-courses for £16 per person (including a £1 donation for our nominated charity, Nottingham Switchboard). There are three choices for each course, and here's the menu:
STARTERS:
Chef's Soup with Homemade Bread
Salmon and Lemon Fishcakes with Sun Blush Tomato Butter Sauce
Chicken Liver Pate with Red Onion Marmalade and Oatcakes
MAIN COURSES (vegetables are available as side dishes and are included in the price):
Pan Fried Medallions of Pork with Caramelised Apple and Cider Cream Sauce
Poached Fillet of Plaice with Wilted Spinach and Glazed Cheese Sauce
Warm Tart of Goats Cheese, Spinach and Pickled Walnuts
PUDDINGS
Dark Chocolate Mousse
Strawberry Cheesecake
Mature Cheddar and Brie with Spiced Apple Chutney and Oatcakes
