12 September 2007: Eat Out Social Nottingham 19: Le Mistral
A monthly dinner club in and around Nottingham, usually with a discount, for open minded people who want to chat and make new friends! Included in the cost £1 per person goes to Switchboard.
It's 3-courses for £15.90 per person (including a £1 donation for our nominated charity, Nottingham Switchboard). There are three choices for each course, and here's the menu:
STARTERS
Roast squash and Cajun spiced sweet potato soup served with garlic croutons and crusty baguette (v)
Warm asparagus spears with Parmesan shavings topped with a poached egg and cracked black pepper (v)
Pate du jour served with French bread and balsamic dressed salad
MAINS
Cod loin wrapped in pancetta served on a pea and mint risotto
Roast chicken Supreme served on wholegrain mash and creamed leek sauce
Char grilled vegetables balsamic reduced red onion and goats cheese tart served with thyme roasted new potatoes and baby vegetables (v)
DESSERTS
Chocolate Chilli Cake
Tart au citron
Selection of continental cheeses
