Croome Park- Capability Brown's first major landscaped park recently restored by the National Trust.
Discover the origins of the ‘English Landscape Movement'. A ten mile walk around Capability Brown's first major landscaped park recently restored by the National Trust. We skirt around the estate to visit the follies on the edge of the park. We will visit ruined castles, classical temples and see the iconic English landscape. We finish in time for tea in the RAF Canteen and for those who wish to see the heart of the park - the National Trust property. Bring a packed lunch. There may be a chance for liquid refreshment at the pub as well.
