Dorset ChillOUT 4, Dorchester, Dorset
20 April 2008: Dorset ChillOUT 4
Quite a large coffee posse in Dorset. Everyone welcome. Guys, girls, couples, singletons, oldies, youngsters, young-at-heartsters, gay, lesbian or whatever. Friendly atmosphere and great venue. 70 to 80 people...maybe more.
Have a latte, glass of wine, make new friends, chill-out, chat, network. An alternative to the scene where you can meet up in a relaxed environment.
:: Friendly welcome
:: Excellent mix of men and women and all ages
:: We have whole venue to ourselves
:: Covered outdoor courtyard (where smoking is permitted)
:: Enclosed private garden
:: Wines, bottled beer and lagers available
:: Fascinating and charming historical venue
:: Simple menu: toasted tea cakes, paninis, sandwiches, scones and cakes
We ask for £1 per person to help cover venue staffing. The venue is dedicated to this event and will not be open to the general public. Napper's Mite is an interesting piece of Dorchester history now a restaurant, but originally a set of almshouses built in 1616. One of the oldest buildings still in use in the town. It has links with novelist Thomas Hardy and with William Barnes, the famous Dorset dialect poet. Click on the picture below to see its charm:

75 people came to March Chillout - from various gay and lesbian networks in the region. So there'll be more present than those on OUT's guest list. If you are coming, please click *definite*. It helps us to give the venue numbers ahead of time.
Any queries, don't hesitate to message me.
Hope to see you there.
