'Don't Ask' - A New Play about Sex and the Military, London

16 February 2010: 'Don't Ask' - A New Play about Sex and the Military

Theatrically Bent presents 'Don't Ask' by Blake Cornish, the premiere reading of the brand new play in aid of the National AIDS Trust (NAT).

Set in 1998, this brilliant, funny and moving new play explores the effect of the U.S military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy on a group of gay men and their friends.

IMPORTANT: Tickets available in advance only – email [email address available to members only] to reserve your place - please provide the names of all attending. Tickets are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Theatrically Bent will be collecting for NAT after the performance.

Please note refreshments will not be available at the venue, but please do bring your own (sorry, no alcohol permitted).

This is Theatrically Bent's first public performance. We are a London-based drama/reading group which meets monthly in Islington. The group members bring a mix of plays, prose, poetry and original pieces to share with a friendly group of like-minded people. No matter if you are an old hand or a first-timer at dramaticals, all are welcome. You can find out more by emailing us at [email address available to members only], or see our facebook group:

With special thanks to Blake Cornish and TfL's LGBT Network Group for their kind support and assistance with this performance.
