31 July 2010: DirtyFilthySexy Nottingham Pride Afterparty
July 31st is Nottingham Pride and DirtyFilthySexy are back with our 3rd annual alternative afterparty.
This year we have 2 (yes two!) separate rooms of music for your dancing pleasure along with a chill out room (hell there's even a pool table!) and a beer garden.. We're really spoiling you aren't we?!
In February at our 80s theme Pride fund-raiser we brought you the first ever gig for Rainbow Down and ever since, people have asked to hear more, so we're pleased to announce Rainbow Down's return in support of another act that, whilst playing only in May, drew quite a stir amongst those that saw them and those that just missed out. Yes that's right, Suki and the Science are back! Plus we are pleased to announce a special debut taster gig of new act Iridal.
Rainbow Down (http://www.myspace.com/rainbowdown) is Nottingham's very own Electro Homo Solo Artist with influences varying from Amanda Palmer to Missy Elliot, through to NIN and Portishead.
Suki and the Science (http://www.myspace.com/sukiandthescience) return with their own infectious blend of pop/hip hop/electronica. Described by one as "'Sexy, classy, retro yet futuristic.... Suki and the Science is for the discerning lover of pop music!'
Iridal is the new side-project of Jay from Suki and the Science, an infectious blend of electronica mixing Orbital and Future Sounds of London
Doors open at 9pm and just because its Pride Night, doesn't mean we're going to charge you a small fortune to get in!
Entry is £4 before 10pm and £5 after. Plus we are open til 3am!
Lucky enough to have bought a DirtyFilthySexyPride badge over the last 6 months? Well then you're in for a treat! Wear your badge on the night and you'll get HALF PRICE entry all night!

Regular DJs Heathen, Glitterhawk and Lady Wildside Himself will be joined by some special guest DJs including Rainbow Down with his own exclusive set for you all AND Mr Ant and DeadPunkBoy from Bristol's very own Psycho:Drama will be making a grand first DFS Vs PD appearance for you all!
Expect the usual eclectic mix of Rock, Electro, Punk, 80s, New Wave, Glam, EBM, Pop and much more..
… and there'll be lollies!
