WHAT WE'LL BE DOING
The London Loop (London Outer Orbital Path) is a 145 mile circular walk around London which is broken down into 15 comfortable day walks. It was conceived in 1900 but has only recently come into being. All are designed to be accessed using a one day travelcard from central London or Zone extension to an oyster etc. Only 1 of the walks is outside zone 6.
You start at one point and finish at another along the Loop. It is designed to take you through green spaces including ancient woodland, historic parkland, farms, canals, esturies, villages and forgotten heaths. It begins on the south bank of the Thames at Erith and runs clockwise around the capital to end at Coldharbour Point, opposite Erith on the Essex bank.
Starting out you soon join an open sweep of the Thames and Erith's Victorian Pier, a reminder of the Thames' earlier use for pleasure steamers. Along the Thames estuary to a mixture of industrial use and Crayford marshes with rough grazing land for shaggy piebald ponies and hovering kestrels often above. Following the River Cray inland to Cray itself and join the London Road, to open fields and parkland to Hall Place and Gardens built in the 1640's. Following the railway path and along the edge of Churchfield wood to Bexley and 12th Century St Marys church on to Bexley High Street.

OutdoorLads brings together gay and bi lads who are doing just that. We organise events across the UK for guys who are into doing something exciting, getting an adrenaline rush and challenging themselves.
Activities include abseiling, back packing, camping, canoeing, caving, hill walks, hosteling, mountain biking, paint ball games, rock climbing, scrambling, wild camping and even learning to sky-dive.
This isn't your usual gay website. We're not here to get you a date or help you get laid. What we will do is help you meet normal everyday lads in a fun, social environment. The best bit… it's FREE to join.
‘But I've got no experience of this sort of thing!' It doesn't matter, the website organises activities for all levels of ability. Everyone has to start somewhere and if you've got questions, feel free to ask them on one of the Forums.
