8 December 2007: Climate Change March - Global Day of Action
Link up with people in over 70 countries worldwide to demand real action NOW to prevent climate catastrophe.
The march is organised by the Campaign against Climate Change - despite being fronted by two main people out of an office in north London, in 2005 the Climate Change March assembled 10,000 people and similar marches in cities across the world from Tokyo to Oslo, in 2006 25,000 marched with over 100,000 in Sydney amongst the global coverage. This year every continent is represented and ordinary but concerned individuals in over 70 countries will be taking action simultaneously to demand governments act more effectively on climate change.
The programme (more details at www.campaigncc.org & www.globalclimatecampaign.org)
