Can you help on World AIDS Day?, London
30 November 2007: Can you help on World AIDS Day?
The National AIDS Trust are holding collections at London Underground stations on Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December. We are looking for volunteers to hold a bucket or collection tin on our behalf.
The National AIDS Trust is the UK's leading independent policy and campaigning charity on HIV. With a core staff of only 15, we rely on the help of volunteers from time to time to help us take up opportunities such as this, very kindly offered to us by Transport for London.
If you can spare a few hours on either or both of these days please contact [email address available to members only], or telephone her on [number available to members only] 731. The more people we have the more slots we can fill on both days - we hope to have people collecting during the morning, afternoon and evening on both days if possible.
We will have at least 2 people collecting at each location at a time, but the more volunteers we have the better coverage we can get.
If you can help out, no matter how long for, on either day please contact the lovely Rachel, she will be more than happy to hear from you.
Thank you,
Anthony

If I was an animal I'd be a wombat. If I was a car I would be unroadworthy. If I was a painting I'd be from Zürich Dada. If I was a drink I'd be a lager shandy. If I was a place I would be anywhere but Crewe. If I was a song I would be Xanadu.
