26 November 2011: Burnley Brew 'n' Brunch
A monthly(it is winter!) gathering in Burnley town centre for all who wish to bob along and meet to have a natter, a brew and maybe a bit of brunch. Come and go as you please. We'll be there for a couple of hours!
Firstly, this event is again being run by Greg (quickfind:feralglow) as I am going to be recovering from surgeery and may not be able to attend. Please come and support him.
This is a monthly(ish) event. For want of a better term it is a "Coffee Posse". We are needing a new venue, and are trying District this time. I have been there before and the coffee is good (so are the cakes!).
It's a very informal "event". Just a chance for people local to East Lancashire to meet up with one another and have a natter, strike up new friendships or maintain old ones. Everyone is welcome and will be included
I will post more information on the venue when I get it!
If anyone wishing to attend feels nervous or shy about entering into a group of people they don't know, then please feel free to message me and we can chat about that a little. We are a friendly bunch of people with a mix of personalities; some loud and gregarious, others more reserved or shy. There is no pressure for anyone to "perform" for the crowd. If you are shy or quiet then that will be accepted, but you will be made to feel included and welcome irrespective of whether everyone else knowns one another except you.
