The British Museum holds knowledge that has been in many instances lost, or is disregarded by the everyday visitor. The purpose is to give knowledge that your average visitor does not receive fom your average guide.
The British museum is one of the biggest cultural collections held by a single country in one physical place. It spans countries and ages.
Knowledge is hiden in many of the objects. The meaning of this knowledge has been quite often forgotten as most of us concentrate on the historical aspects rather than insisting on what these objects seek to teach.
Its practically a temple of knowledge.
The tour seeks to convey some of the knowledge that has been lost.
From the Moai of easter island, passing through the magistrate form hell of the Chinese celestial empire touching the lessons of greek mythology, much can be learned.
Disclaimer: I am a gnostic mystic, not a historian. Some of the knowledge may be inaccurate, wrong or incomplete. No guilt on my side.
Cost: STRONGLY ENCOURAGED "donation" of 120£ per hour.
Quality gaydar escorts get paid 120£, I don't see why I should be paid less (ah desire! makes us open our wallets for trivial things. . . there where we are stingy for those things that are of true value).
A suggested donation of 5£ to the British Museum.
For those that sincerly have economic problems, the tour is free (no donation to me or to the museum).
Maximum number in a group is 3 (the group splits the cost). The purpose is to teach, big groups are difficult to handle. Goodwill is required.
If you wish knowledge for free, on tuesdays I teach for free at Costa caffe in Old Comptons (as per my other event on out), without guilt.
Send a mail on out if you wish to come else the event doesn't take place.
The group decides when the tour is over. The museum is big.
