Meet, chat, drink, go on for a meal -- join us! Start at 14:00hrs in the Hatchett Inn, Frogmore Street, BRISTOL. About 17:00 -- 18:00hrs we go on to eat.
Get together at a lively pub.
We meet, we chat and discuss the topics of the day and we drink a few beers.
Anyway, we drink until about 17:00hrs -- 18:00hrs then go for eats.
All are welcome so, come on and give it a try...
This month (JUNE) the meal will be at Beijing Bistro. Suggestions for next month's (JULY) restaurant are welcomed we want to try some new things -- getting a little stale with usually Chinese, Italian or Indian. Please bear in mind that the MAJOR consideration is PRICE -- it HAS to be that people can pick a main course from the menu for under £10.
Previous events have said that we discuss where we're going for the meal on the day... This often took over an hour for a decision to be made and was tiresome. More recently, it's twice ended up in a full blown argument because someone didn't like the choice of restaurant. Now, if you don't like the choice of restaurant, don't go to the meal.
When we go for the meal, you can make your meal what you want.
That is, if you only want one course and want a soft drink and not alcohol or if you want two or three courses and a few drinks, then do that -- we don't divide the bill evenly -- we each pay for what we have.
