Brighton garden open in aid of Sussex Beacon, Brighton, East Sussex
13 July 2008: Brighton garden open in aid of Sussex Beacon
Come and enjoy tea, cake and pimms in an Outer's Brighton garden open for charity as part of the Garden Gadabout, a fundraiser for HIV/AIDS Centre The Sussex Beacon.
My partner and I are opening our garden for charity, as part of The Garden Gadabout, in which 40 gardens across Brighton and Hove are open to the public.
Come and see dahlias, sweet peas, banana trees, clematis, hollyhocks and our kitchen garden, then take tea, cake or pimms in the sun!
Entry is only £1 and there are 4 other open gardens within 10 minutes walk if you want to make an afternoon of it!
We're open on Sundays 13 and 20 July, 11am to 5pm both days. Full details (including maps) on www.gardengadabout.org.uk - we're garden 2 in what they refer to as The Roundhill trail. (See quickfind:356926 for details of opening on the 20th)
Do come along and support a great charity.

This event has been added to the OUTeverywhere calendar by Steve In Brighton from Brighton in the East Sussex area.
Sane, sorted and switched-on guy, enjoying life in Brighton. I run my own small business, perform as a stand-up comic and sing with a gay choir. I live with my partner (who I met on Out many moons ago) and our dog. I'm as likely to be tending the garden as pounding a dance floor, or to be in a suit as in my leathers. Aren't contradictions wonderful?
