Bowling Goes to Hollywood [Surrey Quays], Canada Water, London, London
4 February 2008: Bowling Goes to Hollywood [Surrey Quays]
It is free to enter the venue. Cost for 2 games and shoe hire is £8.40. Pay on the night.
Brought to you by myself, John (quickfind:johnm1974), Malc (quickfind:anoraxia), Andy (quickfind:ushi) and Rob (quickfind:rob..29). This event has been going for a fair while now. We still get new people coming along, and there is a regular crowd too. We have a broad mix of bowling skill, so don't be shy on that score. The aim is a social event, not a competition!
We will probably hang around for a few drinks in the bar afterwards.

From tube at Canada Water, it is a 10 minute walk. Walk around the dock that is Canada Water and around the far side of Decathalon. You'll see the Evening Standard/Metro printing building in front of you. Turn right on this road and just after the security gate on the left is a pedestrian gate into a car park. Through there and turn left at the cinema building, the bowling alley is another 100m or so.
There is a door into the bar before you get to the main entrance. It has steps, but the venue is wheelchair accessible - use the main entrance and turn left, the bar is at the end of the lanes.
Food is available at the bowling centre - it is the standard fast food you get at bowling alleys. There are also several restaurants in the immediate area.
Please do add yourself to the invite list if you're interested!

Mad as a hatter tube driver from London docklands. Always looking for new friends to help me enjoy life and my interests which include cycling, motorcycling, transport and computers oh, and cats. I have now met the most wonderful guy on here - he makes me smile lots, and tells me I do the same for him.... I'm in love and it's just... sigh!!
