8 May 2008: Bodhicharya Kairos Buddhist Meditation Group
A regular Buddhist meditation group. We discuss Buddhist matters, meditate and have a social time with tea, coffee and biscuits. Boys and girls welcome.
This is the 217th weekly meeting of the Gay (ect.) Buddhist Meditation Group. (We have been meeting since January 2004.) It is a regular event, usually at 18h15 on Thursdays. So far, there have usually been from about eight to twenty people attending.
The sessions are usually facilitated by Dirk de Klerk. The group has the guidance of the Tibetan teacher, Ringu Tulku. Every week will include a short structured talk, guided meditation and time to chat and discuss. Every talk will cover a different topic.
Kairos is a marvellous organisation for the welfare of the LGBT community, and depends on donations. They will appreciate a donation for the evening. How about £4000? £4 is what people usually pay.
