Make music in community. Make community through music. Day of harmonies for all who enjoy singing their socks off! Bring your own voice.
Celebrate the close chord with popular Dorset voice teachers, Gilo and Sarah. This day is part of an Arts Festival, and will have about 40 singers from the local area.
Big Sing is for anyone who enjoys making harmonies. You bring the voices and we supply the va va voom! No need to read music or be a 'trained singer'. Everyone can join in. Sing multi-part harmonies for music as varied as Gospel, African, Jazz, Maori, Blues -- all sorts of sounds and rhythms through the day. The day runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm - bring along some thing simple to share for lunch. And a bottle of water.
We lead workshops throughout the year in different parts of the UK - and teach at a number of festivals or camps. You'll find us fun and relaxed and easygoing.
This isn't a gay/lesbian event as such - there will be straight singers there. But we're on OUT so the atmosphere we create is a welcoming one for all who GLOW - gay, lesbian or whatever.
The door charge is £10 or £8 concession.
