big gay tapas night III @ cafe boo, Mirfield / Dewsbury, West Yorkshire
25 May 2007: big gay tapas night III @ cafe boo
Tapas night at Cafe Boo in the Heart of Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Cafe Boo is Mirfield's premier coffee shop and tapas venue, serving a great selection of dishes on Friday evenings in relaxed friendly surroundings. Vegetarian options are available.
This is a relaxed, informal opportunity to meet and make new friends in a chilled out atmosphere with great food, and the occasional bottle of wine...
A varied selection of dishes is on offer and the menu includes a set meal for 2, with 8 dishes and a bottle of good quality wine for £30, (or £15 a head for those not coming as part of a couple). The premises are fully licenced. I am also offering a handful of complimentary bottles of bubbly to help the night along.
The current menu (from memory, and subject to change) includes:
complimentary bread, olives and balsalmic vinegar dip
roast mediterranean vegetables
garlic muchrooms
leek bake
baked brie with onion marmalade
feta cheese and tomato salad
meatballs with sour cream or tomato
smoked mackerel on toast
home made salmon fishcakes
The owners are close friends and had originally offered us the upstairs lounge area which will accomodate approximately 15 people, but since numbers are now sufficient we can hijack the downstairs restaurant area instead!
Look forward to seeing you there for great food, great company, and a chance to make new friends.
***Please note Cafe Boo do not currently have facilities for credit card payment.
***NOTE: Please also be aware that if you turn up on spec on the night, I cannot guarantee you can be catered for, as there is limited places. If you intend to come along, please try to let me know in advance to avoid disappointment. Many thanks.
