Our August meetup from 7pm onwards at the Amsterdam Bar on Brighton seafront for gay and lesbian professionals in Sussex for social and networking opportunities.
Situated on the sea front in the heart of Kemptown, opposite Brighton's famous Pier, the Amsterdam offers a warm, welcoming and hassle free environment.
We will be taking over the Party room to your left as you enter the main bar, with access to the patio if it's a nice evening. Food, in the form of sandwiches, nachos with dips, sausages, sausage rolls, quiches, potato wedges and cheesy pineapples (on sticks hopefully!) will be available until it's all eaten. In addition, the Amsterdam are generously offering a promotion on a new Premium Lager called Klug beer for £2.50 per bottle.
Upon arrival, Roberta and friends will relieve you of your hard-earned cash and provide a stick-on label with your name hand-written on it (bring your own name tags if you have them). You will need this label to identify yourself as a member of the SGP when you order the Klug beer, otherwise you will have to pay the full price.
It is essential for the success of our meetups that you meet new people, not just those you already know. If you see someone looking lost or lonely, please be a decent Sussex Gay Professional, say 'hello' and bring them in to your conversation. If this is your first meetup, please let one of us know and we'll make sure you get introduced to lots of our nice friendly members.
For those of you that have them, please remember to bring your business cards and brochures! This is very much a business networking opportunity as well as a social event.
