Our next visit to The Royal Centre (http://www.royalcentre-nottingham.co.uk/) will be on Wednesday 26 September to see Starlight Express.
One of the longest running musicals in British theatre history, Starlight Express opened at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre in March 1984, where it played to more than eight million people until its final performance in January 2002.
Specially redesigned for a new generation of audiences by members of the original creative team, this brand new production is like nothing you've ever seen before. Fusing state-of-the-art technology with an electrifying soundtrack and all-new dazzling sets and choreography this is a theatrical journey you will never forget.
Light years ahead of the rest, this futuristic tale of love and hope in the face of adversity is the guaranteed trip of a lifetime; two hours of speed, spectacle, energy and turbo-charged excitement.
I have reserved 12 tickets in the stalls at £29.50 each (of which £2.95 goes to Nottingham Switchboard). In order to secure the seats I have to pay for them a month before the performance. This means I need to know if you want to go and to have payment by Friday 17 August at the latest. For us to get the discount and hence donation to Switchboard, we need to sell 10 tickets. Please let me know ASAP if you would like to go and we can then arrange payment.
