Come and see one of Shakespeare's funniest plays in the Open Air in Colchester
NB - that as of Sat 19 July there are only about 10 tickets for left the WED evening - so book now if you are thinking of coming. There are currently ample tickets for other performances.
The Priory Players' annual open air Shakespeare production this year is A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. This production is set in the late 1950s and packed with rock 'n' roll music, DAs and beehives - but other than that is true to the play and the text. It is on from Wed 23 to Sat 26 July at 8pm and there is also a matinee at 3pm on the Saturday.
For the OUT group I have picked on the Wed night. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Colchester Tourist Office at 1 Queen Street, Colchester [number available to members only] 20 or (subject to av) on the door at the venue from 30 minutes prior to each performance.
Please organise your own tickets - £7, £6 (conc) - but let me know on here if you are coming.
Refreshements are available prior to show and in the interval. DO BRING WARM CLOTHING! No doubt we will head off to a pub for a pint or two afterwards.
So come along and join good gay company watching an entertaining show!
