The Pink Singer close their Wonderfull Year withi this End of season show at Dukes Hall, in the Royal Academy,
On Saturday 16th June 2007, the oldest and best know lesbian and gay choir in Europe, The Pink Singers return to Dukes Hall at the Royal Academy of Music to showcase their exciting range of musical styles with a 'Little of What You Fancy'.
Not many choirs can successfully boast to singing everything from Blur favourite Girls and Boys, through to Love Song for a Vampire with This Woman's Work (Kate Bush) and Bruckner thrown in.
The Pinkies are also absolutely delighted to welcome Yorkshire Lesbian acappella group Deep C Divas, Gay Cabaret Act Something Fishy and unique camp pop band Paleday.
Deep C Divas currently have eight members and have appeared at several international festivals bringing their unique combination of glamour, glitter and firm feminist principles to venues as diverse as Parisian bandstands and the Sydney Opera House – their repertoire includes everything from traditional folk songs to Chaka Khan.
Something Fish are a sexy, sassy combination that will transport the audience through time, delivering kitsch melodies right down to deep and dirty disco and last but not least Paleday who are hot enough to melt Madonna's confessional glitter balls with massive harmonies and a groove that just won't let go!
Will all of the above – there will definitely be ‘a little of what you fancy' to get you in the mood!
