25 May 2008: ADBIG 2008 Running Day
The bi-annual running day organised by the Aldershot & District Bus Interest Group
For the very first time the ADBIG Running Day in 2008 will be held at Farnham.
Although it is intended that this will be a much lower key than the successful 2006 Aldershot Centenary Running Day, there will nevertheless less be a free bus service departure every ten minutes from Farnham Railway Station main car park between 10.00 and 16.00, operating over old Aldershot & District Traction Co Ltd routes of the 1950's and 60's.
A full compliment of preserved A & D vehicles will be operating these services, assisted by other preserved buses with connections to the old A & D company, which have been specially invited to take part.
There will also be sales stands provided by ADBIG, ADORR and some of the invited guests, plus refreshment facilities.

14A Farnham – Lower Froyle
16 Farnham – Dockenfield
17 Farnham – Tilford
19 Farnham – Frensham
31 Farnham – Hog's Back
37 Farnham – Crondall
38 Farnham – Ewshott
65 Farnham – Seale
Feeder journeys will operate from Guildford, Medstead and Winchester to Farnham in the morning, returning to theses points in the evening.
All services will be operated on behalf of ADBIG and are subject to vehicle availability.
A Farnham Running Day Programme giving full timetable and vehicle allocation details will be available in early May.

Car Parking will be available at Farnham Station Car Park, which is situated just off the A31 at Hickleys Corner. Turn left onto the A287 to Hindhead and immediately right into Station Approach and follow the car park signs.
