17 May 2009: A Day in Hand - same-sex hand-holding day to help combat homophobia
On 17 May, same-sex couples all over London will take part in a same-sex hand holding flash mob'. We would love you to be part of it if you can.

Want to be part of a London-wide group of same-sex couples, holding hands? You do not need to identify as a radical or a celebrity to take part. In fact the more everyday the experience, the more relaxed everyone will feel.
Did you know that there are more males holding hands in Istanbul than there are in London?
Some people will hold hands as they have coffee on a pavement. Some will want to be photographed outside by London's landmarks.
Not in a couple? No problem. Grab a friend's hand on the day!
ACTION:
* Click YES to attend this event in May, and hold another's hand on the day. Thank you.
* Join the Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=44558452324 and record what you plan to do with your partner!
* Share more photographs with us. You could upload these to the Facebook group, or we can discuss via an OUT message.
PS Please forgive the London-centric nature of this first drive. It would be wonderful to walk through Exeter, my home town and Wood Green, my own area, and clock a couple here and there holding each other's hands, but we're not there yet. In fact I was at Dumfries Pride last summer, population 32 000, people held hands there, and it was more moving than anything else I'd been to. . .

hello hello - friendly person not looking for much from OUT. Though if Much lands on the profile and is able to form a message, I would be honoured. I enjoy meeting new people, and to find 1) a decent bloke to share some things with or 2) some local buds would def. be of interest.
