Well the it starts again tonight, we get to revel in pain and suffering of people getting their dreams shattered!

I sometimes wonder why their friends don't stop them!

I blame the friends/family.

If I had someone close to me who was somehow convinced they were worthy of a contract but who i KNEW was a tone-deaf warbler, I'd make it my business to tell them, so as to spare their nationwide embarrassment.

Seems some people don't have such a noble opinion of their loved ones.
