The X Factor finalists will sing their version of Mariah Carey's Hero live on Saturday night's show, despite terror threats.

The twelve finalists have recorded a cover of Mariah's 1993 hit song to help raise funds for the forces charity, Help For Heroes.

Earlier this week the Sun reported that preacher Omar Bakri blasted the ITV talent show finalists for the single claiming it was a "muadaat (hatred) of the kuffar (non-believers) against the Muslims and it has dangerous implications."

But according to the newspaper the contestants will still perform the charity single on Saturday night and show bosses have drawn up security plans to ensure their safety.

The single will hit the shops on Monday October 27. Help For Heroes will split the proceeds from the track with another major supporter of war veterans and their families - the British Legion Poppy Fund.

Stuff like the above really pisses me off, after all why shouldn't they release their version of the song, which will help raise proceeds for the British Legion Poppy fund.

Im not even going to get started on the so called political crap regarding the following statement

"Omar Bakri blasted the ITV talent show finalists for the single claiming it was a "muadaat (hatred) of the kuffar (non-believers) against the Muslims and it has dangerous implications."
