photoageing indie chap (45 at the last count!) who loves people, loves life (especially after being at deaths door twice !) and is looking for intelligent conversation, wry and bawdy humour and someone to bounce off mentally within the confines of day to day living...I don't bite so feel free to message me, am never knowingly sarcastic :)

I have been searching for a piece of music for ages and tonight they used it as the piece involving cheryls friend at the end of the programme...what was that piece of orchestral music (is it from baz luhrmans romeo and juliet)...I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me..thanks :)

I can't recall the scene itself now -- but in the past they've used the instrumental version of "Kissing You", the vocal version of which was sung by Des'ree in Romeo + Juliet.

Would that be it?

A little aside, but am I the only one that

a) Didn't think she was as 'friendly' as he'd hoped?

b) She bailed and left him high and dry?

Does it start with some to-and-fro'ing strings, then go a bit 'plinky plonky'?

I know this sounds trite, but I think I know the music you mean.

Oh god I so know the tune you mean, but I don't know what it's called.

X Factor is repeated about twelvety times between now and next week - have you considered 'Shazam' on your mobile?

Call 2580 and hold your phone to the music source - they'll text you the title. It could end your music-searching misery!?

Sony Ericsson phones have 'Track ID' as an application. It performs the same function but is free. I'll give it a whirl if I manage to catch it tomorrow.

Caught the rerun today, the track you're looking for is :

Finding Beauty, by Craig Armstrong. Can be found on 'As if to Nothing'.

Checked it twice with two different bits of the tune, both results the same. Go to Itunes and 'preview' it if you need to check ;)

Hope this helps!
