I am applying for a new job, i was told i would need to obtain a SIA licence, i asked the employer did he know where i could obtain one from, he says have alook on internet, or tey at the job centre as he could not recommend anyone, so i search the internet, the main SIA website does not give any decent info, tried a few others off google ( seemed mostly dodgy( so thought i will try the job centre, job centre send me to learn direct, learn direct send me to next step, next step send me tothe job centre, what a fucked up system we have, i wouldnt mind so much but the SIA is a major thing, its looking as i am not goin g to get the job simply because the government who want people in cerain jobs to have SIA licence cant be bothered to make them available to people who want to pay for one |
