I am currently not working and have no idea what sort of job or sector I want to work in. I know in the future I want to be working in the Police Force but for now I have no idea what I want to do at present. I got above average GCSE's (9 A-C's, 2 D-G's) and have 2 A-Levels in Media Studies and Law. I want a job that I enjoy so I can take my mind off other things (I worry a lot), but have no idea what to do?

Any suggestions?

Nottingham City are starting a recruitment drive tomorrow so I will request an application form. The only thing is my partner said that they are looking for people with a bit of life experience and being 18 it seems quite hard to get in, seeing as though on the last recruitment drive 2000 applied and only 1 in 8 got through the initial stages...

Yes I suppose so, a couple of people in my football team are in the Police Force so they are going to give me some pointers on what to write in the 'additional info in support of your application' part...

Well, there you go. You already have a head start on most of the other applicants.

Good luck!

Make sure you do.

Also, try and get as much info from the guys in the footy team about the job and current community crime initatives. All of this looks good when you go for it. Potential employers love it when you do research on the job and company.
