Got into work this morning to find that the company I work for is going into liquidation, that i am not going to be paid for this month and will have to claim my money back for wages and entitlements etc through the govenment somehow (apparantly there is some sort of system for this to happen when a company goes into liquidation). Has anyone been in this situation before? does it take long to get the money owed back? and do you get everything you are owed by the company or just a small amount of it? Not good timing really looking for a new job as was off to india for a month at the end of july - not really something a prospective employer wants to hear just finishing my HNC for which my company were paying for (and havent) so i dont know where it leaves me with that either. Not a great start to the week so far. |
