4 months notice...

I currently have a 4 months notice period in my exisiting job as an IT manager. I was thinking of looking for something else, but does anyone think that for a new prospective employer, being told that I had a potential 4 months notice period would be a killer to any application? |

We have to give 3 months notice at college. I think it's generally around that sort of length of time in most places. Employers would expect that I think. |

I've got a 3 month notice period in mine (as does everyone else). I've yet to see anyone have to work out their full notice period (most do a month or so) - so you might find your employer is flexible on it.... |
