I want to move my PC into another room which doesn't have a phone socket. So what equipment do I need to enable me to do this and still be able to go online? I don't want to use an extension cable. |

If you have a wireless router you just need a wireless adaptor for your PC. |

I don't think I've got a wireless router. The PC is just plugged into the phone line at the moment (well, there's a broadband modem and those little filter things...). |

One other thing - unless you're a hermit living halfway up a mountain, make sure access to your wireless router is password-protected. That way only your computer (and those of people you give permission to) can access your broadband service. |
